Service Stability and Scalability
In evaluating the stability and scalability of the Kynetx Network Services (KNS), partners and customers should take into account several factors:
- The service is designed to fail open. When properly installed, a KNS failure should never cause a partner Web page to fail to load.
- The architecture is modular and designed to scale horizontally.
- The system can be deployed on multiple systems simultaneously, including Amazon's EC2.
- Infrastructure automation using Puppet and other tools gives Kynetx the ability to scale services on demand.
- Mature quality assurance and service promotion procedures reduce the risk of service failure.
- Mature break/fix processes provide quick response to any problems that do occur.
